Happy Birthday Rhonda

Today is Rhonda's birthday!!! Yipeee! And Rhonda, you will always be 21 to me because I really can't remember how old you are. That will come in handy when you are in your 60's.
I just wanted to say some things about Rhonda today......

10 great things about Rhonda:

1. A Great mother to her kids
2. A down to earth kind of gal.
3. Obtains goals she sets for herself. (I want to be more like that)
4. Excellent Scrapper
5. Always remembers others and sends cards
6. She has both a beautiful appearance and personality.......as for the smell of her sometimes it isn't too pretty. Ha ha
7. She is fun to talk to and sleep with.......ha ha ha.....when we go to Salt Lake without our husbands we share a bed most of the time.
8. Although she might not think so I think she is a good cook!
9. She keeps her house clean -everytime I talk to her on the phone she is doing dishes or laundry or something of that nature.
10. She loves to see and travel to new places.

Rhonda's only down fall is that she has cats.........and that she lives far away. :(

So Rhonda, today is your day and I hope you got to do something fun for yourself........pedicure?

Tagged!

Deeanna Tagged me. I am a pretty slow runner.

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?

It is summer time so I was probably chillin' with my good friends Callie and Stacy on Callies lawn. I was still living with mom and dad (hey guys I was only 14 so it is legit) Callie and I would stay up all night on the sidewalk corner just talking....then my dad would come out and say, "Anna it's time to come in" I love you DAD!!!

2. Five things on my to-do list:

1. Find a job.
2. Buy and plant flowers on my porch.
3. Figure out something fun to do this afternoon.
4. Celebrate Juhannus! (the summer solstice!) JUNE 21
5. Be a better, kinder person

Pay off car, dental bill, student loans
Buy a house with a game room specifically designed for Tyler. And a room specifically for me and my art work, buy a wheel and a high fire kiln as well as open a gallery to sell my work from.
I would get my teeth worked on...braces. Buy my dad a work shed with everything his heart desires. Buy my mom a new bigger kitchen. I would need a chef to cook me healthy meals. And of course travel the world and visit my family frequently. Also get Tyler into Digipen University. And fly him to Japan.

4. Three bad habits

1. Sleep too much (being lazy)
2. Eating too many sweets
3. Having negative thoughts

work all day no play

this week has been insane!!! I have worked about 60 hours this week and Tyler has worked
70 +. It has been weird. We do see each other sometimes at the hotel. Sometimes I get to do breakfast on the same side he is the desk clerk which is really nice. I realized today that we haven't gotten to see much of each other lately. I realized when i was talking to my friend Alaina and told her about plans Tyler and I were making to go hiking this weekend......well the conversation went something like how Tyler and I wanted to go hiking but then I realized we never actually were able to finish that disscussion. It just occurred to me that we had been talking but we never really had enough time to have full conversations I guess.

I have been kind of mad at people today. Some people should not be allowed in public. Yesterday I had a couple leave a table full of trash that I got to clean up. I mean what are these people thinking...... then this morning I look at the tables and they are covered in trash from the pizza place next door. I just can't believe that people are so ignorant and arrogant enough to just leave all their trash in a public place. No wonder there is trash EVERYWHERE!!!! People just think it disappears. (I am a little bit of a GREEN freak) Some people are just so inconsiderate of others. I am so glad I was raised to clean up my own messes and take responsibility of my own actions. Thanks mom and dad!!!

Thanks for not coming to Myspace you big jerks!!!!

I am making this blogspot for my family members who never go to myspace to view my blog because for some reason it is too difficult to type in my URL or their "work computer" won't let them go to myspace. Jk I love you Darla! :) Now ya'll can see pictures too, well that is if I put pictures on there. Now I am part of your freakin' "blogspot world" you happy now? You little twirps!

Okay well here is an update in summary:

Anna survived student teaching without even resorting to drugs or alcohol!

Anna finished a half marathon!

Tyler and Anna bought a nice new (used) 2004 Mazda 3 with paint called VELOCITY! Sexy right?

Anna is working two jobs at the University and the hotel-------She is currently looking for one new job to replace one or both of her current jobs.

Tyler is currently working 3 jobs at the University, Hotel, and one of his dream jobs at Game Crazy. He really loves his jobs and works a ton. I don't know how he does it! He just keeps going and going! He is really an inpsiration to me. He never complains. I think he leaves that to me because I am such a complainer. He never wastes a single minute. Me I waste several. He also acted as Group Sales Manager at his hotel job for a week while the real one was on vacation.

We have annual Disneyland passes if anyone wants to come with us. Our goal is two more times before summer is over.

We hiked Angels Landing in Zion..........GORGEOUS!!!!

Oh and after many years of going to college I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree and teaching license. Tyler only has 2+ years to go.

We bought a new propane grill! YIPEE!!!

And after many moons of persuasion from Tyler we got an HDTV. YIPPEE again. except we can only pick up 2 tv stations. It makes me sad because I am a big fan of TV.

Anna and her friend Alaina planted their first garden and only a few things have died.

My family will come to Cedar for our family reunion this year! We are way excited!!

And the most recent news is that I got called to be the first counselor in our ward Relief Society. ( I think it is by default since our ward is so small) And Tyler has been practicing playing the drums he has become wicked awesome. He and his Game Crazy band will play at The Grind Coffee shop for a Rock Band competition Saturday June 28th at 5pm.

So that is what has been going down. Hope you didn't get too bored. Sorry about referring to myself in the 3rd person and then back to first person.
