Crooks 2008

This year Tyler and I decided to host our annual Family Reunion in Cedar City. We were so excited for everyone to come and enjoy beautiful Southern Utah. (who wants to move here?) We had almost everyone here minus the Missouri Crooks and Curtis. We missed you all. On our first Crooked Adventure we went to Bryce Canyon National Park. It is so beautiful and AMAZING!!! It is honestly breathtaking. Tyler and I went there for the first time last summer and knew we had to share the beauty. There were many look out points one of which is mine and Tyler's favorite, "Inspiration Point." We saved that until last because it is the best.

After Bryce Canyon we met up with Rhonda, Darla, Bryan and the kids to go on a hike to Cascade Falls. It is really walking on the side of the mountain but it sure is BEAUTIFUL!!!

We've got Darla on the guitar, Rochelle on the drums, Anna on bass, and Rhonda on the vocals. All together we make the Sweet Sistas Rock Band! We had a great time rockin' out.

Here is Brian and Aubrey at the start of our hike. It is so incredible how much beauty there is in this world, especially Southern Utah.

We had such a great time at this reunion, as always. We had many adventures with our "walks" and especially the kid puking in the pool. The best part was when the other kid came in and jumped right in it. :) He was probably covered in it. At first it made me sorry for him but now I just laugh. It had to be fate! For some reason he NEEDED to jump into the puke in the pool.

I hope everyone can come visit again sometime!!! We loved having you!

My stupidity holds me back yet again

okay so I am trying to post pictures on my blog about the Crook Reunion. I got one picture on and then for some reason it just deleted everything that I had on there. I just want to cuss and scream I can't figure computer things out at all. And to make matters 100 times worse than that I am filling out Tyler's financial aide information so he can get financial aide and I am having the worst time. I can never remember what I did last year and end up having troubles. I always try to put horrible times like that in my past. so to make a long blog short I am ticked and I hate filling out financial paperwork. two water bottles parished during the time of my frustration. RIP water bottles.

It's TIME!!!

It really is HERE!!! Tomorrow my family will arrive for our family reunion here in Cedar City. I am so excited!!! I have planned a lot of fun things to do so I hope they all work out. I am really excited for my family members who have not yet been to our home. I think everyone but Rhonda, who now will probably not be coming, Darla and Brian who are coming. And Shawn and Jayne who we all wish could come. oh and Dusty hasn't but his family did stop by on their way to SLC.

Tyler and I are really excited to have our family come to "our part of the world" and see they BEAUTIFUL city we live in. There is so much to do. I just called everyone to see when they would be arriving and when I was talking to Dusty he said it was 113 degrees in the shade! HOLY CRAP!!!! That is just way too hot. I am suprised your skin doesn't just melt off your body at those temperatures! Well I was happy to inform him that it would be much cooler here. I think it will be really enjoyable for the Arizona Crooks.

Well only a few more hours of being at work then I can have a break for a few days! YIPEE!
